Australia day is the official national day of Australia. Celebrated annually on the 26th January, the day commemorates the arrival of the first fleet in 1788, marking the start of the British colonisation of Australia. As a result this day is an official public holiday in every state and territory of Australia!

We at Hot FM would love to celebrate this day with Shenanigans by holding the annual Budgies, Boardies and Bikini’s Party Hot FM party at Shenanigans from 5-10pm on Saturday 23 January. The party would be hosted by Hot FM’s Marty and Bec and provide competitions and entertainment throughout the afternoon. Shenannigans would provide drink specials for the duration of the party.

The main events for the day will be the Iron Bloke and Iron Sheila challenges! Blokes to prove their Aussie Masculinity will be required to be the first of the entrants to eat a cold meat pie, do ten push ups, scull a warm beer, eat a raw onion as well as bob for beers. The Sheila’s will need to drink a shot of tomato sauce, suck the insides out of a chikko roll, peel a potato and then blow up a lilo!
